Intel Capital Invests US$8.8 Million in NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud Technologies
Investment supports the advancement of Indian data center innovations
Mumbai, India, August 13, 2013 - Intel Capital, Intel Corporation’s global investment and M&A organization, today announced a US$8.8 million investment in Bangalore-based IT infrastructure services provider NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud Technologies delivers central IT platform as a service to enterprises, providing full spectrum datacenter and enterprise cloud services from its own High Density Datacenter facilities and deploying centrally managed On Premises Datacenters at customer locations. NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud Technologies is currently addressing markets in India and the Middle East, and has plans to enter South East Asia.

The investment director for NxtGen Datacenter & Cloud Technologies is Mumbai-based Pradeep Tagare. Funding for the investment comes from the US$250 million Intel Capital India Technology Fund established in December 2005.
