Note to Financial Community Regarding Intel's 14 Week First Quarter

SUBJECT:         14 Week First Quarter

As is the case every 5-6 years, Intel Corporation's fiscal 2011 will be 53 weeks in order to re-align with the calendar year.  This will result in a 14 week first quarter in 2011 vs. the typical 13 week quarter.  The first quarter began Sunday, December 26 and will end on Saturday, April 2.  For reference, the prior three 53 week fiscal years were 2005, 2000, and 1994.

As previously announced, Intel Corporation's Q4 2010 Earnings Conference Call will be held at 5:30 PM (ET)/2:30 PM (PT) on Thursday January 13, 2011.

Intel's earnings results will be announced after the market closes.  The full text of the report will be carried over Business Wire and First Call and will also be available at Intel's Investor Relations Website www.intc.com.
