World's Largest Science Competition Kicks off in Reno on May 10

More than 1,500 Students from 51 Countries to Compete in Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2009

              - Public exhibition of projects will be on May 14 from 9 a.m.-9
              p.m. PDT (Students will be at their projects from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
              PDT)

              - Grand Awards Ceremony will be on May 15 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. PDT

              Young scientists from around the world will compete in the world's
              largest pre-college science competition: the Intel International
              Science and Engineering Fair 2009, a program of the Society for
WHAT:         Science & the Public. Students will share ideas, showcase
              cutting-edge research and inventions, and compete for nearly $4
              million in scholarships. The top three winners will each be
              awarded a $50,000 scholarship from the Intel Foundation.
